Please Log inDimora Ghirlandaio is a historic Renaissance estate located in the rolling hills of Impruneta, just 15 minutes outside the heart of Florence. Once the country residence of the Ghirlandaio family—famed for their contributions to Italian art and for training Michelangelo—the estate is steeped in cultural and artistic heritage.
Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and cypress trees, the property offers stunning views of the Tuscan countryside and a peaceful escape from the city. The estate features a collection of beautifully restored villas, original frescoes, a private chapel, and elegant gardens.
We are so excited to welcome our guests here to kick off the wedding weekend in true Tuscan style!
Transportation
Private transportation will be provided to and from the Welcome Party for all guests staying at The St. Regis. Additional details will be shared closer to the event.
A Note on Children We love your little ones dearly, but we kindly ask that the wedding week events remain adults-only. The only exceptions will be for our flower girls and ring bearer. We hope this allows everyone to unwind, celebrate, and fully enjoy this special time with us.
Attire: Cocktail to Semi-Formal (Outdoor Garden Setting)
This evening calls for polished yet relaxed elegance. We ask guests to wear cocktail or semi-formal attire suited for an upscale outdoor villa setting.
Ladies: Midi or maxi dresses, chic jumpsuits, or dressy sets. Light, breathable fabrics like silk, chiffon, or linen in romantic tones, florals, or bold Italian-inspired colors. Wedges, block heels, or dressy flats are ideal for navigating stone paths and garden terrain.
Gentlemen: Lightweight suits or dress pants with a button-down shirt or sport coat. Linen, cotton, or breathable blends are perfect for the Tuscan warmth. Loafers or polished dress shoes—no ties necessary, unless you'd like to wear one!
Think refined and festive—something you’d wear to sip Aperol Spritz in a vineyard at golden hour.
We are honored to hold our wedding ceremony at Chiesa di San Salvatore in Ognissanti, a beautiful 13th-century church just a short walk from The St. Regis Florence.
Originally founded by the Umiliati order and later entrusted to the Franciscans, the church is a masterpiece of Baroque architecture and rich in Florentine history. It features works by celebrated artists including Giotto, Sandro Botticelli, and Domenico Ghirlandaio—with Botticelli himself buried inside, near his muse Simonetta Vespucci.
The peaceful atmosphere and timeless beauty of Ognissanti make it a truly meaningful setting as we prepare for the ceremony.
Transportation
Shuttle service will be provided on the day of the wedding, for guests staying at Dimora Ghirlandaio. Guests will be dropped off at the St. Regis Florence, located in the city center and situated within the same plaza as the church, cocktail hour, and reception venues. Detailed timing and logistical information will be communicated closer to the event date.

Attire: Black Tie
Our wedding ceremony will be held in a historic Catholic church in Florence, followed by an elegant evening reception at the St. Regis. We kindly ask guests to dress in formal Black Tie attire that reflects the setting—elevated, timeless, and appropriate for the occasion.
Ladies: Floor-length gowns or formal midi dresses in classic or rich tones. Shoulders must be covered while inside the church—this can be with a shawl, wrap, or light jacket. Italian-inspired details like lace, soft draping, or elegant accessories are welcome. Heels or dressy flats are recommended.
Gentlemen: A tuxedo is preferred, but a dark formal suit with a tie works as well! Please ensure your look feels polished and celebratory.
The ceremony and reception will include time outdoors, so plan for comfort on cobblestone streets and terraces. Most of all, we hope you feel your best as we celebrate together in the heart of Florence.
Join us for a sunset cocktail hour at The Lounge, the private rooftop bar atop The Excelsior in Florence.
Perched on the sixth floor, this elegant, venue offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Arno River, the Ponte Vecchio, and Florence’s historic skyline, all framed by the rolling Tuscan hills.
Guests will enjoy handcrafted cocktails and gourmet bites while soaking in one of the most stunning rooftop bars the city has to offer. The refined setting and relaxed atmosphere will be the perfect way to kick off our wedding celebrations.
We can’t wait to share this unforgettable evening with you!
