Antonia Ieronimo
Matron of Honor

Hallie and Antonia first met in high school when Hallie made the Varsity Lacrosse team as one of the youngest players—an achievement that immediately came with a 5:00 a.m. practice and a celebratory sleepover planned by the older girls. Hallie was fully convinced she would be left out… until Antonia walked up, gave her a big hug, congratulated her, and invited her anyway. That single act of kindness (and inclusion) kicked off a friendship that's had no boundaries since.

Despite being a year younger, Hallie followed Antonia to Purdue University, where they were both members of Alpha Phi. They lived together at 801 David Ross Road and still laugh about owning more personal belongings than any two people reasonably should — while sharing the smallest room in the house. Thanks to Hallie’s borderline-concerning organizational skills and Gina (Antonia’s mom, patron saint of patience), the chaos was mostly contained.

After college, the two moved to Chicago and shared their very first apartment, confidently taking on the city with their closest friends — the beloved “B-town crew” they’ve known since childhood. They navigated adulthood together: jobs, heartbreaks, celebrations, questionable decisions, and countless late nights that somehow turned into lifelong memories.

As the only girl in Antonia’s immediate family, the two naturally upgraded from “best friends” to “sisters.” You can still find them on the phone for hours at a time discussing life, careers, family, dreams for the future, and occasionally rehashing stories they’ve already told each other a hundred times. Through every chapter, Antonia has been Hallie’s constant — her safe place, her biggest supporter, and her chosen family.

Hallie could not be more honored to have Antonia stand by her side on this day, surrounded by her parents, husband, and children — celebrating a friendship built on love, loyalty, laughter, and a lifetime of inside jokes.

Kaitlyn Garrison
Maid of Honor

Kaitlyn and Hallie first met at Purdue University during their Alpha Phi pledgeship — aka the very beginning of a lifelong friendship neither of them could have predicted (or escaped). They grew close quickly, but by sophomore year they were fully inseparable, usually alongside their other bestie, “AC,” whose nickname famously came from naming her childhood cat “Alexandria’s Cat.” Yes, that is the origin story. No notes. From that point on, Hallie and Kaitlyn did everything together… except go to class or work the same jobs.

After graduation, life sent them to different corners of the country, but somehow the friendship stayed exactly the same. A few years later, Kaitlyn — also known as “Garrison” (Hallie’s preferred name) or “Gary” for short — moved to Chicago. While Chicago wasn’t her forever place, it became the backdrop for some of their favorite years: walking their dogs, taking cycling classes, hanging with friends and roommates, roaming the West Loop, going to concerts, Bears and Blackhawks games, and spending lots of time with Hallie’s cousins — because if you’re close to Hallie, you’re automatically adopted into her entire family.

Eventually, Kaitlyn headed south to Charleston, where she now enjoys permanently warmer weather (something Hallie will be eternally jealous of). But distance has never stood a chance against this friendship. Kaitlyn is the person Hallie belly laughs with, cries to when life feels hard, and celebrates every win with — big or small. She has been there through heartbreak, growth, and everything in between. After traveling the country together, Hallie can’t wait to take on Italy next with her favorite person by her side. Here’s to a lifetime of friendship, inside jokes, and memories that never get old!

Katelyn Kereiakes
BRIDESMAID

If Hallie had the option to make every single one of her bridesmaids a Maid of Honor, she would — and Katelyn is exactly why. Their story goes all the way back to Barrington Middle School, but it was in high school, when friend groups merged and life revolved around BHS boys’ soccer games, that Hallie and Katelyn truly became inseparable. What started as sitting on the sidelines quickly turned into a friendship built on trust, nonstop laughter, and the kind of understanding that doesn’t need explaining. Even as the years passed — and the boyfriends came and wen — Katelyn remained the one constant Hallie could always count on.

When college sent them to different schools, the friendship never skipped a beat. They picked right back up every break, every holiday, and every summer like no time had passed. When Katelyn moved to the city after earning her master’s degree from the University of Illinois, their friendship only deepened. Those years were filled with yoga classes, late night chats in each other’s apartments, and memories that still make them laugh out loud (including the infamous Boardroom night that will never be forgotten).

But what truly makes Katelyn so special to Hallie isn’t just the fun — it’s the way she shows up. Katelyn has been there through heartbreak, family moments, personal growth, and career milestones, always with a calm presence, the best advice, unwavering loyalty, and perfectly timed humor. Living just a few floors apart only reinforced what Hallie already knew: Katelyn isn’t just a best friend, she’s family.

As the oldest of four girls, Katelyn has a natural warmth and care about her, and Hallie has always felt that love in everything she does. She is kind, thoughtful, endlessly supportive, and—if you really know her—effortlessly funny.Being welcomed into the Decraene family has been one of Hallie’s greatest joys (and she’s still not sure how Ray and Diane put up with them), but she is honored to be considered part of it.

Katelyn is one of the strongest people Hallie knows and someone she looks up to more than she may ever realize. Having her stand beside her on this day means more than words can capture — it’s a celebration of years of friendship, unconditional love, and a bond that will last a lifetime.

Bagi Errabolu
Bridesmaid

Frenemies turned besties — the beginning of Hallie and Bagi’s friendship truly reads like something out of a novel. The two first met in Chicago when Hallie’s childhood best friend started dating Bagi’s college best friend. They were constantly around each other, crossing paths again and again, yet somehow never really talked or clicked.

That is… until New Year’s Eve, when Hallie accidentally spilled her drink on Bagi. Forced apologies turned into conversation, conversation turned into laughter, and soon after, Bagi asked Hallie to spend a day running around the city together. That day changed everything. By the end of it, the two had officially clicked — and became instant besties.

From that moment on, they did everything together. Dinners, drinks, charity events, SoulCycle classes — you name it. No matter how long the workday ran (and as a CPA in tax, Bagi’s days were often very long), they somehow found time to meet up almost every week. What started as an unexpected friendship quickly turned into something so much deeper.

Bagi is a constant source of inspiration for Hallie. She is smart, beautiful, incredibly driven, always on the move, and somehow still the kindest, most genuine person in any room. She challenges Hallie to think differently, pushes her to be better, and brings out a wiser, stronger version of her. Hallie truly believes she is a better person because of Bagi — and is forever grateful for a friendship that started as a frenemy situation and turned into one of the most meaningful relationships in her life.

Heather Smith
Bridesmaid

Heather is Hallie’s notorious big sister—and at five years older, the two spent a large portion of their lives butting heads. And to answer your question… yes, they still do. But somewhere along the way, as they grew up (and matured… slightly), that sisterly tension turned into something really special.

Heather was always the older, smarter sister, while Hallie proudly held the title of the younger, goofy one. As adults, though, they’ve built a true friendship—one rooted in respect, honesty, and showing up for each other no matter what. While both sisters are fiercely independent, they’ve learned how to lean on one another, even when it means putting on their big-girl panties and attempting to be vulnerable (which does not come naturally to either of them).

Heather is hands down one of the funniest people Hallie knows—and between the two of them, Heather definitely won the sense-of-humor lottery. She has an unmatched ability to make everyone around her laugh, usually without even trying. In fact, when Hallie first told Heather she was dating Danny—and that he had an older brother in Heather’s grade—she was very nervous. What if Heather didn’t like him? Thankfully, Heather knew exactly who he was… and immediately approved. Crisis averted.

At the end of the day, Heather is more than just Hallie’s sister—she’s a constant, a protector, a built-in best friend, and someone Hallie is endlessly grateful to have by her side on this day

Ann Bozonelos
BRIDESMAID

Did somebody say wellness? The first time Hallie met Ann—Danny’s sister—she was understandably nervous. It was Hallie’s first time meeting Danny’s family, knowing he hadn’t really brought many girlfriends around before, and stepping into the role of the “new girlfriend” of the baby brother came with plenty of nerves. But the moment Hallie met Ann, all of that disappeared.

From the very beginning, Hallie and Ann clicked and quickly realized how much they had in common — bonding over wellness, clean ingredients and products, and a shared love for all things skincare, makeup, and creativity. While Hallie rarely has time to craft these days, she is constantly in awe of the beautiful projects Ann creates around the house and for her girls, Milena and Kaia. Ann is a true artist, always inspiring Hallie to slow down, get creative, and one day find her way back into the arts-and-crafts world.

Over the past five years, Ann has become so much more than a future sister-in-law. She has been a steady presence through personal and professional challenges, offering guidance, perspective, and support in a way that feels less like a big sister and more like a trusted mentor. Having Ann stand by her side on this day means the world, and there isn't a world where it would feel complete without her.

M
Mariella Loiacono
Bridesmaid

The first time Hallie met Mariella was at a family party at Danny’s mom’s house — after Danny casually convinced her to stop by following brunch in Oak Brook Terrace. What he failed to mention was that this would be Hallie’s official first meeting with his entire family… on one of the very first days she had left the house post-LASIK and while recovering from an ankle injury that had her in a walking boot and on crutches.

Danny now loves to joke that Hallie met his family looking like a one-legged, patch-eyed pirate — and honestly, he’s not wrong. Hallie showed up in leggings and a sweatshirt, barely able to see or walk, only to be greeted by Mariella — who is effortlessly beautiful and genuinely one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Needless to say, Hallie was mortified.

But from that moment on, Mariella made Hallie feel welcome. She is the ultimate beauty guru — always in the know on hair, makeup, skincare, and the latest treatments — and she’s constantly teaching Hallie something new. Beauty quickly became their bonding language, and Hallie has loved learning from someone who truly knows her stuff.

Mariella has always made Hallie feel so welcomed and supported. These days, their favorite updates involve swapping stories about their dogs — especially Mariella’s 50-pound Bernedoodle, Archie, who is proudly part of the ever-growing dog cousin gang. Hallie feels incredibly lucky to have Mariella as a future sister-in-law and couldn’t imagine this day without her by her side!
